More about the OraQuick® HIV Self-Test
The OraQuick HIV Self-Test does not use finger-stick and blood like other rapid point-of-care test you may be familiar with that is administered at a health clinic or your doctor’s office. Thee OraQuick test uses an oral swab. Like other home self-tests, for example a pregnancy test: you do the test on yourself and see the results within minutes.
Do the test in three easy steps, swab your mouth, insert into the tube provided and read your result after 20 minutes! Remember to follow the manufacturers instructions closely to get an accurate result. You can find video and detailed instructions by downloading the Health Connect Jamaica Virtual app.
